Busy property management company is looking for a reliable, experienced Handyman / Maintenance Vendor for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and rental property turnovers.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, responsive, professional, and proficient in multiple trades. Consistent work is available for the right person.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on job experience/training in property maintenance, construction, or a related trade
- General handyman repairs and general labor
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical
- Drywall repair and patching
- Interior and exterior painting
- Carpentry
- Rental property turnovers / make-readies
- Irrigation and sprinkler repairs
- Fixture, faucet and toilet replacement
- Appliance installation
- Fence and gate repairs
- Hauling and property cleanups
- General maintenance troubleshooting
Must be:
- Reliable and able to show up when scheduled
- Able to work independently and troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Able to communicate professionally with tenants and management
- Able to provide before-and-after photos
- Able to handle multiple work orders efficiently
- Equipped with reliable transportation and own tools
- Able to provide estimates and invoices promptly
- Interested in consistent, long-term work
Vendor requirements: Appropriate licensing and insurance may be required depending on the type and scope of work.
Location: Bakersfield and surrounding areas.
